Construction Safety Week 2025: All In. Together.
Construction Safety Week 2025 will take place May 5–9, and many of our job sites will participate with safety-focused speakers, events, and appreciation lunches. This week is a powerful reminder across our industry to reinforce the importance of protecting our most valuable asset—our people.
What is Construction Safety Week?
This industry-wide event is dedicated to promoting safety and wellness for construction workers nationwide. It’s a chance for every trade, every company, and every team member to unite in a shared commitment: to create the safest possible work environments and ensure everyone goes home safely at the end of each day.
This Year’s Theme: All In. Together.
The 2025 theme, “All In. Together.”, focuses on strengthening the collective message of safety by focusing on three key actions: plan, own, and commit.
1. Plan with Purpose and Determination
Every successful project begins with a plan—a thoughtful, thorough roadmap that considers every task, variable, and team member. From timelines and materials to site conditions and subcontractors, it’s our responsibility to analyze all factors to anticipate risks, overcome challenges, and operate efficiently. A great plan sets the tone for safety and success—but only if it’s communicated clearly and understood by every person on the job.
2. Own Your Role in Safety and Success
Safety isn’t a checklist—it’s a responsibility shared by every team member. Everyone plays a part in upholding and executing the plan. That means asking questions, speaking up, and recognizing when something changes that could affect safety. At Plateau, every team member has the authority—and the expectation—to stop work if something doesn’t feel right. That ownership mindset protects everyone.
3. Commit to Excellence, Every Day
Commitment is what transforms a plan into action. It’s about showing up daily with focus, intention, and the willingness to work together toward one goal: delivering the highest safety and quality standards. When we all bring that level of commitment, we build stronger teams, better outcomes, and a culture we’re proud of.
At Plateau, Safety is Always the Priority
While Construction Safety Week provides a dedicated time to focus on safety, at Plateau, safety is a continuous priority ingrained in our culture. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment every day, ensuring that all team members return home safely to their families.
Let’s use this week as an opportunity to reaffirm our dedication to safety and to each other. Stay safe and committed. Safety is at our core.
