Hyundai is partnering with SK Battery to build a new battery plant in Bartow County, bringing 3,500 new jobs to the county. Plateau Excavation is leading the site development for this project with over 200 pieces of equipment on this 600-acre site. and will move over 14 million cubic yards of material. Officials say the new facility will be one of the largest economic development projects in Georgia history and will invest approximately $4 to $5 billion into Bartow County.

Rivian, an electric adventure vehicle manufacturer, is building its second U.S. plant on 730 acres in Georgia. The plant will be a carbon-conscious campus that will include technology centers for research and development, as well as manufacturing. The project will create 7,500 jobs. The plant will also have a delivery center, adventure and test tracks, and 144 charging stations for Rivian vehicles. Plateau Excavation will be moving over 7 mil cy of earth on this site.
