Plateau’s 2024 Wrapped: A Year of Growth, Innovation, and Success.
As 2024 comes to an end, we look back at an incredible year of progress, dedication, and impact. From moving mountains of earth to making significant contributions to the community, Plateau has been hard at work delivering exceptional results across every aspect of our company. Here’s a detailed recap of our achievements in 2024:
Massive Earthworks: 13 Million Cubic Yards Moved
In 2024, Plateau successfully completed some of the largest earthwork projects to date, moving a staggering 13 million cubic yards of earth. This immense volume is a testament to our ability to handle large-scale construction and land development projects. Whether it’s for new infrastructure or major site preparation, our team has delivered exceptional results.
Fleet Operations: 1.76 Million Miles Traveled
Our fleet played a crucial role in ensuring project timelines were met, covering a total of 1.76 million miles in 2024. This distance reflects the vital transportation of materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites across the country. Our fleet’s reliability and efficiency have been key to keeping projects on track and moving forward.
Infrastructure Growth: 420,000 Feet of Pipe Installed
Plateau’s commitment to building essential infrastructure is evident in the 420,000 feet of pipe installed throughout the year. This includes the installation of storm, sanitary sewer, and water pipes, which are vital for maintaining reliable utility systems in the communities we serve. Our team’s ability to execute these installations on time and within budget ensures the continued development of essential services.
Fleet Expansion: 58 Tier 4 Machines and 5 Commercial Trucks
To support our growing operations, Plateau added 58 new Tier 4 Final machines and 5 commercial trucks to our fleet in 2024. These machines are designed to meet the latest environmental standards, improving fuel efficiency, and reducing emissions. This fleet expansion reflects our commitment to sustainability while enhancing our operational capacity.
Sustainability and Stabilization: Lime and Cement Usage
Our stabilization department achieved significant milestones in 2024, using 34,327 tons of lime and 19,810 tons of cement to stabilize over 3 million cubic yards of material. These efforts help improve the durability of our projects, reduce environmental impact, and ensure long-lasting results. By using sustainable materials and advanced techniques, we continue to lead the industry in responsible construction practices.
Technology and Innovation: Drone Operations for Efficiency
Plateau embraced technology to improve productivity and precision. In 2024, our drones were deployed across 32 job sites, completing 598 surveys and 602 designs while capturing 1,925 measurements. This data-driven approach allows us to enhance project efficiency, reduce errors, and improve planning. Drones have become a key tool in our ongoing efforts to stay ahead in an increasingly digital industry.
Community Commitment: Over $150,000 Raised for Charity
At Plateau, we believe in the power of giving back. In 2024, we raised and donated over $150,000 to charitable organizations and causes.
