Brad G. Carroll serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Plateau Excavation, leading one of the Southeast’s premier heavy civil construction companies. He is responsible for the company’s strategic direction, operational performance, financial growth, and long-term vision while fostering a culture built on safety, innovation, accountability, and excellence.
Brad joined Plateau Excavation in 2011 following the acquisition of Aiken Grading Company, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2021, he was named President and CEO, guiding the company through a period of significant expansion and continued investment in its people, equipment, and capabilities.
With decades of experience in heavy civil construction, Brad has led the successful execution of large-scale commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and mission-critical site development projects throughout the Southeast. His leadership philosophy centers on building strong relationships, empowering employees, and delivering exceptional value to clients through quality workmanship and operational excellence.
Today, Brad continues to position Plateau for the future by embracing innovation, investing in technology, and developing the next generation of industry leaders. Nate Hrinsin serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Plateau Excavation, providing strategic financial leadership that supports the company’s continued growth across the Southeast. He oversees accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and corporate financial strategy while helping ensure the organization remains well-positioned for long-term success.
Bringing more than 25 years of finance and accounting experience, Nate began his career with Deloitte before holding financial leadership positions within Fortune 500 organizations. Prior to joining Plateau Excavation, he served as Vice President of Finance for Sterling Infrastructure, giving him valuable insight into the company’s operations, financial performance, and long-term strategic objectives.
As a member of Plateau’s executive leadership team, Nate partners closely with operational leaders to evaluate project performance, support strategic investments, and guide sound business decisions. His analytical approach and collaborative leadership help balance disciplined financial management with the flexibility needed to support continued expansion.

Ryan Duke serves as Executive Vice President of Plateau Excavation, providing strategic leadership for construction operations across the company’s growing portfolio of heavy civil projects throughout the Southeast. He works closely with executive leadership, project teams, and field operations to ensure every project is executed safely, efficiently, and to Plateau’s high standards of quality.
With more than two decades of experience in heavy civil construction, Ryan has developed expertise in managing complex commercial, industrial, residential, infrastructure, landfill, and mission-critical developments. His broad operational experience allows him to anticipate challenges, optimize resources, and drive successful project outcomes from preconstruction through completion.
Ryan plays an integral role in coordinating field operations, forecasting workload, and aligning resources to support the company’s continued growth. He also works closely with clients, subcontractors, and project partners to build lasting relationships that contribute to Plateau’s reputation for reliability and exceptional performance.
Known for his practical leadership style and commitment to teamwork, Ryan is passionate about developing people and creating an environment where employees can succeed. John Osterland serves as Executive Vice President of Plateau Excavation, providing executive leadership for the company’s preconstruction operations and supporting the successful delivery of complex heavy civil and mission-critical projects throughout the Southeast. His experience bridges strategic planning, estimating, operations, and project execution, allowing him to provide valuable insight throughout every phase of construction.
John joined Plateau Excavation in 2011 following the acquisition of Aiken Grading Company, where he served as a Project Manager. Since then, he has helped drive Plateau’s continued growth by leading preconstruction efforts for some of the company’s largest commercial, industrial, and data center developments.
Working closely with executive leadership and preconstruction teams, John helps identify opportunities, manage project risk, and develop innovative solutions that create value for clients while supporting efficient project execution. His collaborative approach ensures a seamless transition from preconstruction through field operations, positioning projects for long-term success.
Respected throughout the organization for his leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to mentorship, John continues to play a key role in expanding Plateau’s capabilities while strengthening relationships with clients, partners, and employees across the Southeast.
David Shewchuk serves as Senior Vice President of Preconstruction for Plateau Excavation, leading the company’s estimating and preconstruction operations for complex heavy civil, site development, and mission-critical projects throughout the Southeast. He oversees estimating strategy, project pricing, client relationships, and business development while ensuring every project begins with a strong foundation for success.
David joined Plateau Excavation in 2011 following the acquisition of Aiken Grading Company and has played a key role in the company’s continued growth ever since. His leadership has helped secure many of Plateau’s largest and most complex projects while expanding long-term relationships with developers, contractors, and industry partners.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, David combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of market conditions, project risk, and construction costs. Working closely with operations and executive leadership, he develops competitive strategies that align client objectives with practical, value-driven solutions.
Known for his collaborative approach and commitment to excellence, David believes successful projects begin long before construction starts. His ability to build trust, anticipate challenges, and assemble the right teams continues to position Plateau as a preferred partner for complex site development throughout the Southeast.
Joseph Davis serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for Plateau Excavation, providing strategic leadership for the company’s operations and project execution across the Southeast. He works closely with project teams, operational leaders, and executive management to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to Plateau’s high standards of quality.
An accomplished civil engineer with decades of heavy civil construction experience, Joseph has managed some of the region’s most complex commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and mission-critical developments. His expertise spans operational planning, procurement, supply chain management, project controls, cost management, and field execution.
Before joining Plateau, Joseph contributed to several landmark developments, including the site development for Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, and the Porsche Cars North America Headquarters and Experience Center in Atlanta. These projects reflect the technical expertise and collaborative leadership that continue to define his career.
Joseph is passionate about continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams. By combining engineering expertise with practical field experience, he helps drive operational excellence while ensuring Plateau continues to deliver exceptional results for clients across the region.
Greg Farr serves as the Vice President of Equipment for Plateau Excavation, where he oversees one of the largest privately owned construction equipment fleets in the Southeast. With extensive experience in construction equipment management and fleet operations, he is responsible for the maintenance, performance, and strategic management of more than 1,400 earthmoving machines, support vehicles, and fleet trucks that power Plateau’s operations across multiple states.
Leading a team of more than 60 skilled technicians, mechanics, coordinators, and support personnel, Greg ensures the company’s equipment fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably to meet the demands of every project. His leadership is instrumental in minimizing downtime, maximizing equipment utilization, and maintaining the high level of service that Plateau’s field operations depend on every day.
Working closely with the President, Senior Vice President of Construction, and Chief Financial Officer, Greg plays a key role in developing long-term fleet strategies, including capital planning, equipment modernization, technology integration, and sustainable fleet growth. His collaborative approach helps position Plateau to meet both current project demands and future expansion opportunities.
Greg also maintains strong strategic partnerships with industry leaders, including Yancey Bros. Co. and Caterpillar, providing Plateau with early access to innovative equipment, emerging technologies, and advanced fleet solutions. His commitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and forward-thinking leadership ensures Plateau’s equipment division remains a competitive advantage and supports the company’s continued success.
Danny Camp serves as the Vice President of PEI Blasting, formerly known as LK Gregory, Plateau Excavation’s Aggregates Division. With more than 20 years of experience in the aggregates industry, his expertise spans drilling, blasting, crushing, and aggregate production. Throughout his career, Danny has held a variety of leadership and management roles, building a reputation for operational excellence, strategic decision-making, and developing high-performing teams.
As Vice President, Danny oversees the continued growth and success of PEI Blasting, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. His extensive industry knowledge, hands-on experience, and commitment to operational excellence have made him a trusted leader within the organization and throughout the construction and aggregates industries.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Danny is deeply committed to serving his community. Alongside another Plateau Excavation executive and their families, he co-founded a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local school systems during the holiday season, providing resources and assistance to students and families in need while making a meaningful impact in the communities they serve.

Joseph Dudley serves as Vice President of Safety, Risk & Workforce Development for Plateau Excavation, where he provides strategic leadership for the company’s safety culture, risk management initiatives, workforce development programs, and regulatory compliance efforts across all operations. He is responsible for advancing Plateau’s commitment to protecting its people, developing its workforce, and ensuring operational excellence through proactive risk mitigation, training, and continuous improvement.
With more than 20 years of experience in the civil construction industry, Joseph has led both operational and safety functions on complex infrastructure, site development, and mission-critical projects throughout the Southeast. His expertise spans safety program development, workforce training, risk management, incident prevention, regulatory compliance, and field operations support.
Throughout his career, Joseph has developed and implemented comprehensive safety and training programs, established operational best practices, and fostered a culture of accountability that empowers employees to work safely while delivering exceptional results. Ernie T. Scoggins serves as the Vice President of Plateau Excavation South leading the company’s operations throughout Florida. With more than 40 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry, he has played a pivotal role in delivering some of the Southeast’s most complex and high-profile projects.
Throughout his career, Ernie has built extensive expertise in commercial site development, heavy industrial construction, and roadway infrastructure. His comprehensive understanding of project planning, operations, and execution has enabled him to successfully manage large-scale developments while consistently delivering exceptional results for clients.

Steve Stone serves as Vice President of Kimes & Stone Construction, Plateau Excavation’s soil stabilization division, where he provides strategic leadership and oversees operations for specialized ground improvement projects throughout the Southeast. With more than 40 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry, Steve has built a distinguished career founded on technical expertise, operational excellence, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Throughout his career, Steve has successfully managed crews, led multiple departments, and directed projects ranging from rural roadway improvements and major highway infrastructure to large-scale commercial and industrial site development. His extensive knowledge of soil stabilization techniques, project planning, field operations, and construction management has made him a respected leader within the industry and a trusted resource for clients and project teams alike.
Steve oversees all aspects of Kimes & Stone Construction, working closely with customers, field personnel, and project managers to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. His hands-on leadership, decades of industry experience, and dedication to mentoring the next generation of construction professionals continue to strengthen the company’s reputation for excellence.

Cain Prater serves as Vice President of the Utilities Division at Plateau Excavation, where he leads the planning, estimating, and execution of complex utility infrastructure projects across the Southeast. Since joining Plateau, he has played a vital role in the successful delivery of residential, commercial, industrial, and transportation developments, helping clients navigate every stage of the construction process with confidence.
With more than 16 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry, Cain brings extensive expertise in project estimating, bid preparation, scheduling, utility planning, quantity take-offs, and overall project management. His ability to develop accurate estimates and strategic project plans has contributed to the successful completion of numerous large-scale developments while maintaining Plateau’s commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
Cain oversees all operations within Plateau’s Utilities Division, providing leadership to project teams while managing field crews, subcontractors, and project resources. He works closely with developers, engineers, municipalities, utility providers, and local governing agencies to ensure projects are properly coordinated, meet regulatory requirements, and are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and technical knowledge, Cain also assists clients during the preconstruction phase by providing conceptual earthwork and utility design guidance that helps maximize efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities early in the development process. His ability to build strong relationships, solve complex challenges, and lead high-performing teams has made him an integral part of Plateau Excavation’s continued growth and success.
Aria Morgan serves as the Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Affairs for Plateau Excavation, where she has been instrumental in launching and managing the company’s marketing and branding strategy.
Since joining Plateau, Aria has transformed the organization’s external presence and internal communications, helping elevate brand recognition while reinforcing a culture centered on safety, innovation and people. She built and now leads a growing marketing team responsible for proposal strategy, digital presence, events, workforce storytelling and executive communications.
