Facebook Data Center Gallatin

Overview

We kicked off the Gallatin Meta (formerly known as Facebook) Data Center in 2020. This is greenfield development of a multi-building data center campus. Once complete in late 2023, the campus will encompass nearly 1 million square feet of data center and admin space.

The site will be supported by 100% renewable energy, use 80% less water than a typical data center, and LEED Gold certified by the U.S. Green Building Council.

The Gallatin Data Center is Facebook’s 17th data center development globally and 13th in the United States.

Plateau Excavation prepared the site with clearing, grading, erosion control, excavation, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, water (Fire, domestic, irrigation). Plateau Excavation also handled the blasting (LK Gregory), crushing & asphalt paving.
