-How would you describe your role?

In my role, I help keep things organized for the safety team. I assist the Safety Director and managers in the field. I handle all PPE, and schedule safety trainings—basically, I help make sure everyone has what they need to keep their jobsites safe and productive.

-So far, what has been your favorite project?

I wouldn’t say I have a favorite project—each one is different and brings something new to the table. I really enjoy the variety and getting to be involved in so many different aspects of what we do.

-How would you describe your team or the people you work with?

Our safety team is made up of a great group of managers with different strengths and personalities. We work well together, support one another, and share the same focus on maintaining safe and efficient job sites.

-What’s your favorite aspect of your job, Plateau or the industry?

My favorite part of my job is knowing that what I do helps keep people safe. I also really enjoy the teamwork at Plateau—everyone is willing to help each other, and there’s a real sense of pride in the work we do.

-If you could be any machine, what would you be?

I’d be a motor grader in the dirt work industry—steady, precise, and always making sure the job runs safely and smoothly.

-What is something unique about you (fun fact) that few people are aware of?

Most people are surprised to learn I have a bearded dragon. I also have a cat, a dog, and a few fish, which complete my mini zoo at home.

-What legacy do you hope to leave behind? Or advice you would give someone getting into the industry?

For anyone starting in the industry, I’d say stay curious, be willing to help, work hard, and remember that every experience is an opportunity to learn.
