Plateau began the UPS at Charlie Brown Airport Project in the last quarter of 2016. The project includes a distribution warehouse and auxiliary buildings totaling over 1.2 million square feet. Site roadways provide access to the facility and parking areas for 1,400 employees and over 2,000 spaces for tractor/trailers once fully developed. The project is currently 95% complete. UPS has taken control of the buildings and will soon begin operations. Plateau is currently grading the parking lot expansion and the 5 driveway entrances along Fulton Industrial Blvd.
The scope of the project includes as follows:
- Development of 235 acres
- 2.5 million cubic yards of structural fill placement
- 335,000 cubic yards of topsoil
- 285,000 cubic yards of rock (rip, mass, and trench)
- 110,000 tons of graded aggregate base
- 27,000 lf of storm drain pipe
- 18,000 lf of water pipe
